The problem

Most B2B sales teams run on six or seven tools that do not talk to each other: a CRM, a data provider, a dialler, an email tool, a scheduling link, a compliance service and separate software for proposals and invoices. The context that wins a call ends up scattered across all of them.

Prospect lists on their own are noise. What matters is timing: a company hiring for a role that could be automated, visiting your website, or filing a change at Companies House this week.

And outbound calling in the UK has rules. A number registered with the Telephone Preference Service must not be called, and a stack that leaves that check to memory is a liability waiting to happen.

Why a sales team needs one platform, not six tools

Sales software is mostly designed for large teams with someone whose whole job is to administer the tools. A lean B2B team needs one system that answers the questions that matter: which companies are worth contacting this week, what is worth saying to each, is it lawful to dial this number, and what has been proposed, accepted and invoiced. Stitching that together from a CRM, a data provider, a dialler, an email tool, a scheduling link and separate proposal and invoicing software costs more than it saves, and the context never ends up in one place.

Augustova GTM puts sourcing, research, calling, email, meetings, proposals and billing into a single system, so the record of every account is complete from the first signal to the paid invoice.

From a buying signal to a call

Sourcing starts from timing rather than a static list. A company hiring for a role that is mostly administration, visiting your website, or with a recent change at Companies House is a better call than a thousand names from a database. Those signals land in one view, cross-checked against the company’s official record so a limited company is never mistaken for a sole trader.

Each account is then researched by AI against a rubric: what the business does, where the manual work is likely to be, a score, and the evidence for it, with a recommended angle for the first conversation. Research is metered and a researched account is marked as such, so nobody pays for the same research twice by accident. The result is a sales brief on the account page and a short opener on the call screen, so every call starts with something specific to that business.

02AI research with a score, the evidence and an angle for the call

Compliance designed into the queue

Business-to-business cold calling in the UK is lawful, but numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service or its corporate equivalent must not be called. Rather than leave that to memory, every number is screened before it reaches the call queue and the result is refreshed within the period the rules require; an unscreened number simply does not appear as callable. Compliance is enforced by the system, not by a policy document.

Calls are transcribed in the browser itself, and every call, note and outcome is recorded against the account, so the history of a relationship is a page rather than a memory.

Email and meetings in the same record

Email is sent and received through the CRM itself. Replies land on the account timeline with the full text, bounces and unsubscribes are suppressed automatically so nobody emails a contact who has opted out, and a reply showing interest or asking for a meeting becomes a signal the team sees straight away.

Meetings live in the same place. A built-in calendar and booking link let prospects book directly, with reminders, preparation notes for the host, a check on whether the prospect turned up and an automatic follow-up when they did not. A live selling dashboard shows dials, connect rates, meetings booked, show and close rates, cost per meeting and revenue against target.

From proposal to paid invoice

When a conversation turns into a deal, the proposal is written from the account record, sent with an online page the client can read and accept, and converted into a quote and then an invoice without rekeying anything. Credit notes and recurring monthly plans are handled in the same place, so the revenue figure on the dashboard and the invoices sent are the same numbers.

01Proposals and quotes written from the account record
02Online accept page for the client, no printing or signing by post
03Invoices and credit notes issued from the accepted quote
04Recurring monthly plans for retainers and subscriptions
05Revenue reported from the invoices themselves

Engineered for cost control

The expensive part of AI research is repetition, not the research itself. Duplicate runs are blocked unless explicitly requested, the bulk of the work runs on an economical model, and spend is metered per run, which keeps the cost of researching an account to pennies. The most useful output is not the score but the evidence beside it, because a seller will only make the call if they can see why.

Common questions

What is Augustova GTM?

A CRM and go-to-market platform in private release: signal-led sourcing, AI account research with scored evidence, browser calling with TPS and CTPS screening, two-way email, calendar and meetings, proposals and quotes with online acceptance, invoicing and a live selling dashboard.

Does it handle email and invoicing too?

Yes. Email is sent and received through the CRM with replies on the account timeline, and the same record carries the deal through proposals, quotes, online acceptance, invoices, credit notes and monthly plans.

Is it publicly available?

No. It is in private release with no self-serve sign-up. Access is by enquiry only, and each deployment is set up around the team using it.

What is the difference between a CRM and a go-to-market platform?

A CRM records customers and deals. A go-to-market platform also finds the companies worth approaching, researches them, contacts them by phone and email, books the meeting and handles the proposal and invoice. Augustova GTM does both in one record.

Is cold calling businesses legal in the UK?

Yes, business-to-business cold calling is lawful, but numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service or the Corporate Telephone Preference Service must not be called. Augustova GTM screens every number before it can be dialled.

How does it keep cold calling compliant?

Every number is screened against TPS and CTPS before it reaches the call queue, results are refreshed within the required period, and an unscreened number cannot be dialled from the queue.

How do we get access to Augustova GTM?

Through an enquiry. There is no self-serve sign-up: we talk through your sales process, sectors and current tools first, and each deployment is configured around the team using it.

Who is Augustova GTM for?

B2B teams that run outbound or work leads from several sources, especially lean teams without a dedicated sales operations person, who want sourcing, calling, email and billing in one system.

What buying signals does it track?

Hiring activity, company-level website visits and Companies House records, cross-checked against each company’s official record so a limited company is never mistaken for a sole trader.

How does the AI account research work?

Each account is researched against a scoring rubric: what the business does, where the manual work is likely to be, a score with the evidence behind it, and a recommended angle and opener for the first conversation.

Can we call prospects from the browser?

Yes. Calls are placed and received in the browser, transcribed there, and every call, note and outcome is logged against the account automatically.

Can clients accept proposals online?

Yes. Proposals and quotes are written from the account record and sent with an online page the client can read and accept, then converted into an invoice without rekeying anything.

Does it support recurring billing?

Yes. Monthly plans handle retainers and subscriptions, alongside one-off invoices and credit notes, so reported revenue comes from the invoices themselves.

What does the selling dashboard show?

Dials against target, connect rates, decision-maker and meeting rates, show and close rates, cost per meeting and per deal, call-backs due and revenue.

What does AI account research cost?

Pennies per account. Researched accounts are marked, a repeat run must be requested explicitly, and an economical model does the bulk of the work.

Can it work alongside our existing CRM?

Yes. It can run as the full CRM or add sourcing, research, enrichment and compliance around the CRM you already use. Enquire and we will tell you which fits.
