Everything runs in accounts in your name, so you own it, see the bills and are never locked in. You get a walkthrough video and a one-page runbook. If you stop a care plan, it keeps running and you pay the vendors directly.

Compliance and your data
You are the controller of your customers’ data and we act as your processor under a written agreement. Vendors such as ElevenLabs, Twilio, Meta and the model provider are listed in that agreement, including any that process data outside the UK.
Starter or a main Augustova service?
Starter fixes one problem for under £1,000. When the job is bigger, several workflows, systems that need to talk to each other, or a team-wide programme, our main services take over, and Starter fees can be credited towards them.

What is Augustova Starter?

How much does an AI receptionist cost in the UK?
Self-serve plans run from about £39 to £99 a month on Fasthosts’ published pricing, and done-for-you builds from UK agencies often start around £2,000 setup. Ours is £695 setup plus an optional £79 a month care plan that includes 300 AI minutes.
Do I have to tell callers they are talking to an AI?
We have not found a UK law that specifically requires it, but UK GDPR’s transparency principle makes disclosure the safe default, and the ICO’s AI guidance points the same way. Our greeting always says the caller is speaking to an AI assistant.
Will calls be recorded?
Only if you choose to. Callers are told at the start, and you set how long transcripts and audio are kept. UK GDPR sets no fixed period but requires that personal data is kept no longer than necessary; we suggest 90 days for transcripts and 30 days, or none, for audio.
Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes. We divert unanswered or busy calls from your current number to the receptionist. If you want a new UK number, the network has to check your business identity and UK address first, which usually adds a few working days.
What happens when the AI cannot help?
It transfers the call to your mobile. If you do not pick up, it takes a message and sends it to you straight away.
How much does a website chatbot cost for a UK small business?
Freelance set-ups on PeoplePerHour run from about £80 to £400, and some UK agencies quote £2,500 or more for a basic bot. Software you configure yourself, such as Tidio or Chatbase, costs from about $24 to $40 a month. Ours is £795, trained on your own content and tested before it goes live.
Will the chatbot make things up?
It answers only from your own pages and documents, shows the page it used, and hands over to a person when it is not sure. That matters: a Canadian tribunal held Air Canada responsible for what its chatbot told a customer in 2024.
Can I use an AI chatbot on WhatsApp Business in 2026?
Yes, if it serves your own business: questions, bookings and support. Meta’s WhatsApp Business terms bar general-purpose AI assistants from 15 January 2026, so ours only ever answers about your business and always offers a route to a person.
Can I keep my WhatsApp number and the WhatsApp Business app?
Usually, yes. Meta’s coexistence onboarding lets the app and the API run on the same number with your chat history synced. We check eligibility for your number before you pay.
How much does it cost to automate one workflow in the UK?
Certified Zapier partners list project minimums from about $200 to $500, and some n8n specialists charge $1,500 per workflow. Our Single Automation is £595 fixed, built in your own account and tested before handover.
Zapier, Make or n8n: which do you use?
Whichever fits your apps and volume. Simple, low-volume flows can run on free plans; paid plans start at about $9 a month for Make, $19.99 for Zapier billed annually and €20 for n8n.
What is the difference between Single Automation and Find and Fix?
If you already know the exact job you want gone, such as web form to CRM, Single Automation (£595) builds it. If you only know that admin is eating your week, Find and Fix (£995) works out which job is costing you most first, can use AI to read or write text, and the fee counts towards a bigger build.
What does an AI audit cost for a small business?
Short audits from independent consultants are offered from about $497, and fuller ones for micro firms from about £750, while consultancy audits start around £2,500. Our Quick Audit is £495 and names your three best opportunities with payback estimates; the fee is credited against a build.
How much is AI training for staff in the UK?
Published in-house half days cost from about £850 for up to 12 people, and full-day courses about £1,049 plus VAT. Our AI Team Workshop is £895 for up to 12, built around your own tasks.
Is there free government AI training?
Yes. The government’s AI Skills Boost programme offers free short courses. We suggest your team takes one first, then uses our workshop to apply AI to your own work with a policy that fits your business.
What are the monthly running costs?
You pay vendors at cost, with no markup, on your own accounts. As our own estimates: about £10 to £40 a month for a typical automation, and about £40 to £50 a month for a receptionist handling around 375 minutes. Each package page shows its own figures.
Who owns what you build?
You do. It runs in accounts in your name, and you get documentation and a walkthrough video. If you stop a care plan, it keeps running.
Is it UK GDPR compliant?
