Software for logistics operators, built around exceptions.
Augustova builds custom software and automation for UK logistics and transport operators, covering exception handling, proof of delivery, automated customer updates and driver compliance tracking. Routine deliveries are already handled, so the value is in what happens when something goes wrong.
01
Nobody phones about a delivery that arrived
The cost centre in a transport operation is exceptions: the failed delivery, the missing paperwork, the vehicle off the road. Each one generates calls, rework and a customer forming an opinion.
Most systems record what happened. Far fewer act on it fast enough to change the outcome.

What we build for operators
03
Failure reasons are the useful data
Knowing the failure rate tells you little. Knowing that a third of failures come from one depot on one day of the week tells you what to change. Most operations have this data and no way to see it.
Common questions
We already have a transport management system. Why build?
Because most of them record and few of them act. The value is usually the exception workflow and customer communication layered on top of the system you already run.
Can we notify customers automatically without annoying them?
A proactive message when something changes is welcomed. It is the silence followed by a failed delivery that generates complaints and calls.
Does this help with driver recruitment?
Yes, and it is often the larger commercial problem. Driver and subcontractor onboarding has the same shape as high volume hiring, which is machinery we already run in production.
