An AI assistant for Dubai businesses, in Arabic and English.

Augustova is a London AI consultancy and software studio that serves businesses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE remotely. It builds a bilingual Arabic and English assistant for WhatsApp and phone that answers enquiries, qualifies leads and books viewings or appointments, then automates the admin behind it. The assistant starts from AED 3,400 setup.

How enquiries reach a UAE business

In the UAE the first contact is usually a WhatsApp message rather than a web form. In a YouGov poll of 1,000 UAE residents commissioned by Zbooni and published in February 2024, 65% said they had used WhatsApp to ask a business about a product or service in the past year, and 85% said they would rather deal with companies on WhatsApp.

The same poll found 87% would rather talk to a person than to a chatbot. We design around that. The assistant answers the routine question at 11pm, collects the details and books the slot, then hands the conversation to your team with everything written down. It says it is an assistant, and it never pretends to be a person.

Messages tend to mix English and Arabic, sometimes in one thread, and a buyer is often messaging three brokers or three clinics at once. You cannot control who else they message. You can control how fast a correct answer and an available time reach them.

Where it fits best in the UAE

Four kinds of business get the most from it, because their revenue arrives as enquiries and most of those enquiries ask the same ten questions.

Real estate brokerages and property management

Portal listings on Property Finder, Bayut and dubizzle send buyers and tenants straight to an agent’s WhatsApp, at any hour. Every Dubai property advert needs a Trakheesi permit from the Dubai Land Department, and Bayut and dubizzle will not publish a listing without its permit number.

So the assistant only discusses listings you have loaded, and quotes the permit number when asked. It qualifies the enquiry (area, budget, cash or mortgage, move-in date), offers viewing times from the agent’s calendar and sends a hot lead to the agent at once. For property managers it logs maintenance requests with photos and tells the tenant what happens next.

Private clinics: dental, aesthetics, dermatology and physiotherapy

Clinics get the same questions all day: price ranges, which doctor, insurance, parking and the next free slot. The assistant answers from a list you approve and books into your clinic system where it has an interface for that.

Health data needs particular care in the UAE. Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 generally bars storing or transferring health information about services provided in the UAE outside the country, subject to exceptions set by ministerial decision. We therefore keep symptoms and medical history out of the assistant by design. It books, and anything clinical goes to your staff.

Car rental

Rental enquiries turn on availability, deposits, insurance, delivery to a hotel or the airport, and which documents a visitor needs. The assistant checks the fleet sheet or booking system, quotes your published terms, sends your document checklist and holds the booking for a person to confirm.

Damage disputes, refunds and anything about traffic fines always go to a person. Those are the conversations where a wrong answer costs more than a slow one.

Hospitality: restaurants, beach clubs and boutique hotels

Table and event bookings, group menus, dress codes and directions, in two languages and often after midnight. The assistant answers from your own information, puts the booking into your reservation tool and passes large or unusual requests to the manager on duty.

Services and prices in the UAE, in the order we would suggest

We lead with the assistant in the UAE because the gap most businesses here can measure is the enquiry that waits overnight on WhatsApp. It is also the quickest thing to put live and the easiest to judge: you can read every conversation it has.

Automation comes next. Mandatory e-invoicing starts on 1 January 2027 for businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more and on 1 July 2027 for the rest, on KPMG’s reading of the Ministry of Finance timetable. That makes invoicing, and the data that feeds it, a sensible first Find and Fix for many firms. We connect your systems to the accredited service provider you appoint; we are not one.

Consultancy and custom software follow, for firms with several branches or a process no product fits.

Data protection in the UAE

The federal Personal Data Protection Law is Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. It covers the personal data of people in the UAE, including when it is processed by a company outside the country, which includes us when we build for you. The DIFC and ADGM keep their own data protection regimes, and health and banking data have sector laws of their own.

We design each deployment around your obligations under the law that applies to you: what the assistant collects, why, how long it is kept, who can see it, and which providers process it. We tell you which model, messaging and hosting providers are involved and where each one processes data, and we can discuss the options before anything is built.

We do not claim to make you compliant. Your lawyer or data protection officer decides that, and we give them the documentation to decide it.

Working with a team in London

Augustova Ltd is a UK company (number 17216706). There is no UAE office, trade licence or local phone number, and we will not suggest otherwise. Meetings are on video.

Our office hours are 09:00 to 17:00 London time, Monday to Friday. The UAE is on UTC+4 all year. From 25 October 2026 to 28 March 2027, while the UK is on GMT, that is 13:00 to 21:00 in Dubai: the afternoon of your working day. While the UK is on British Summer Time it is 12:00 to 20:00. The federal government moved to a Saturday and Sunday weekend in 2022; if your company works Monday to Friday too, our weeks line up exactly.

Our team works in English. The Arabic your assistant uses is drafted with you and approved by an Arabic speaker on your side before go-live, and every reply it sends is logged so you can check it.

After go-live, and the honest limits

  • Your assistant runs on your own WhatsApp Business Platform account. Meta charges per message; since 1 October 2026 each number gets 1,000 free service messages a month and later ones are charged, and an approved template is needed to message a customer more than 24 hours after their last message. You pay Meta and the other providers directly, at cost.
  • The phone side depends on your operator. Connecting an AI to the number you have today is not always possible, so we check what your operator allows before we quote that part.
  • It answers from information you approve. When a price or policy changes, it changes in one place, and the care plan covers making that change.
  • It will get some answers wrong at first. We test it on your real past enquiries before launch and review the transcripts with you in the first weeks.
  • Everything runs in accounts in your name. If you stop the care plan, it keeps running.

Common questions from the UAE

Do you have an office in Dubai?

No. Augustova is a UK company with its office in London, and we serve UAE businesses remotely over video. We have no UAE office, trade licence or local phone number. If you need someone in your office every week, we are not the right fit.

Can the assistant switch between Arabic and English in one chat?

Yes. It replies in the language the customer writes in and follows them if they switch. Arabic written in Latin letters is tested on real messages from your business before launch, and an Arabic speaker on your side approves the wording.

Will it handle Property Finder, Bayut and dubizzle leads?

Leads that reach you on WhatsApp or by phone, yes, which is where most portal enquiries end up. Pulling leads straight into your CRM depends on the access your portal accounts and CRM allow, and we confirm that before quoting.

Can a clinic use it without putting patient data at risk?

We build it to book appointments and answer non-clinical questions only, and to keep symptoms and medical history out. Anything medical goes to your staff. Whether your setup meets the health data rules for your clinic is for your adviser to confirm; we document where every piece of data goes so they can.

How long does it take to go live?

The build takes about 10 working days once Meta has verified your business on WhatsApp. Verification is the step we cannot speed up, so we start it on the first day.

Which currency do we pay in?

The dirham prices on this page are our sterling prices converted on 21 October 2026 and rounded. Your written quote states the price and the currency you are invoiced in before any work starts.
